Our focus for the day, and all of January, is Responsibility📓📚🚮🏃🏾‍♀️‍➡️😴

Proud of our StuCo (Student Council) for modeling Responsibility and sharing with our Broncos how they show Responsibility at school and home 🙌🏽

Bronco Families,

We’ve had a great start back to the semester!

No news to share yet for Mrs. McMaier and her family, but we are excited to welcome Leesa Monroe as our Substitute Assistant Principal! Ms. Monroe is a North Arlington resident and a longtime AISD educator!

She retired in 2021 after an impressive 35 years in public education, including 10 years in the classroom and 25 years serving in various campus administrative roles. She retired as an Assistant Principal at Thornton Elementary School and previously served for nine years as an Assistant Principal at Nichols Junior High and two years at Webb Elementary, both campuses within the Lamar network. Her familiarity with North Arlington and AISD schools will be a tremendous asset. She also holds certifications for Superintendent, Principal, Elementary Teacher, ESL, and Special Education.

If you need to reach Ms. Monroe you can email her at lmonroe@aisd.net or call our main line, 682-867-1010.

Please join me in giving Ms. Monroe a warm welcome. We are grateful to have her supporting our students, staff, and families, and I know she will be a wonderful addition to our team during her time with us🙌
